I actually woke up kinda early today! I had work to do..I have been hired to help plan my first event! Exciting! My first event planning gig ya'll! Then I had to type out my ideas for Karmacake to send to Marie since I had to work instead of going to the meeting! Boo.

I was dressed very boring today, I kinda lost track of time...and realized I had to leave for work in 20 minutes. Hehehehe. I'm trying not to wear leggings as much, and this is the first day in about a month or so!


Just got home, and chatting with Parris. Obviously.

The smell of new D.I.Y's.

On Sunday my mum picked me up from Lilo's place and we went to visit some fabric stores in the heart of queen west. It was a fantastic time, and we found some pretty neat fabrics and things. My mum has been designing a bunch of things for my sister and has created quite the buzz around her school. I decided that I didn't want to pay a ridic amount of money for an AA circle scarf, that is actually a piece of material sewn together. So I bought two different types and material and colour to make my own!I want to get those done within the next few days. Oh and I bought some new studs, hai jean shorts.

I love this neon colour, great for summer.

of course you need staple black!

Miley taking over the world.

I'm guessing you have all heard by now..I mean really, it was bound to happen..I'm surprised it actually didn't happen earlier...

Miley Cyrus to "design" a line of affordable clothing for Walmart.

Can I just say that even though that will make so many young girls happy...celebrity clothing lines through Walmart are always super cheap and really tacky! I'm just saying what my experience has been..Their lines are never like those that celebs and designers make for Target. I don't see the difference in the stores really, so why the difference in quality?

I know this issue is probably useless, considering its Miley Cyrus and the line will most likely sell out within the first day.

But, I just think whats the point in making an affordable line if its going to be horribly made and look really tacky. I'm also not just saying this because its Miley Cyrus.

Everyone that knows me knows I love Hilary Duff, but her line stuff by duff..yes looked cute from far away and in pictures. The line itself..super tacky and cheap.

Same with the MaryKate and Ashley, we all know they have an amazing sense of style (and their own) and they have two amazing lines (Elizabeth and James, The Row).

But their Walmart line was hideous.

I think its great to make an affordable line for your fans (etc) but at least put some quality into it.

If your not going to wear it, why would anyone else?
